During the winter, injuries sustained while skiing, snowboarding and skating are common. The most common in skiing are fractures of bones, ruptures of ligaments of joints and tendons of muscles. Fractures of the bones of the arms and legs with involvement within the joint surface are the most demanding injuries that most often require surgery for osteosynthesis and fixation of fracture fragments of bone and simultaneous treatment of cartilage injuries.

Treatment – conservative and surgical

With minimally invasive methods, we manage to apply osteosynthetic implants in the most modern way under the control of X-ray machines and / or arthroscopes within the operation itself. If necessary, in some types of more severe intra-articular fractures, we are able to install artificial joint implants.

Hand injury or so-called ski thumb and dislocation of the joint between the shoulder blade and the collarbone are typical ski injuries that most often require minimally invasive surgery with the installation of modern titanium implants.

Everything is accompanied by high-quality possibilities of fast treatment in the field of regenerative medicine and physical rehabilitation.
